*Coach Kenneth Decuir-7'2" NCAA division 1 High Jumper at McNeese State University. Coached multiple state champions in High Jump, Long Jump, and Triple Jump. Extensive experience with private/individual coaching and also High School head coaching experience.
*Coach Kayla Fischer-Division 1 cross country and track athlete at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Has been an integral part of the KBR coaching staff and lead coach for our youth track camp for the past 12 years.
*Coach Jim Pat Darcey is from College Station, Texas. Darcey was an integral part of legendary coach, James Giese’s cross country program at A&M Consolidated HS. Darcey was a member of a state champion team, leading his team with a fourth place individual finish his sophomore year at the UIL state Cross Country Championships. Darcey went on to run cross country and track at Texas A&M University. He was a member of the 1999 National Qualifying team and ran at the NCAA Division I Championships. Coach Darcey has been a Head Track and Cross Country coach for 23 years while coaching multiple state champions in cross country and track and field.
*Coach Jason Reed also from College Station, TX and ran at A&M Consolidated for Coach Giese competed at multiple state championships in cross country and track with multiple state meet medals in both track and cross country. Coach Reed attended Texas A&M on a track and cross country scholarship and was a four year letterwinner. During his time at Texas A&M, Coach Reed won multiple SWC medals while being one of the best mid distance and distance runners in the conference. Coach Reed also coached at the collegiate level at Stephen Austin University while completing his masters degree. Coach Reed has been a Head Track and Cross Country Coach for over 26 years and coached state qualifiers on both track and cross country.
*Bryan MacDonald Sprint and Hurdle coach. grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Originally a walk-on at Texas State University he later transferred to a smaller D1-UTRGV (formerly UTPA) upon earning a scholarship. Coach Mac was a 400m Hurdler who was a conference qualifier & scorer in all his years as an athlete in both indoor and outdoor. He was a part of the 4x4 team that set the indoor school record and helped his team in the 800m when needed. He loved coaching the youth in his early years and decided to pursue it as a career and wanted to become an elite coach.
He spent 7 years at Victoria West HS, 2 as an assistant and 5 as a Head Girls Track Coach where he made 5 consecutive State Track Meet appearances & 6 overall; with 7 consecutive Regional Finals in a combination of all the Sprint Relays, Hurdles, and Jumps that resulted in a Team Regional Championship in 2016 and 3 state medals in PV and the Hurdles in 2017 & 2018. Coach Mac is a Track & Field fanatic who always continues his knowledge by attending lectures at coaching school and pursing certifications. He is a USATF Level II certified coach and plans to pursue level III & IV.
